Halo is operated by Bolingo Capital - FZCO, Dubai, UAE. This policy explains what we collect when you use Halo, why, how long we keep it, and how to reach us. It follows the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

What we collect

• Account data: the email address you sign in with.
• Connected platform access: when you connect Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, we store the access token issued by that platform so Halo can post and read comments on your behalf. We never see or store your platform password.
• Media and content: the photos, videos, captions, and post drafts you upload or generate in Halo.
• Comments and messages: comments and DMs synced from your connected accounts, plus the replies Halo drafts, so you can review and approve them.
• Billing contact: a billing email for the brand account, where provided.
• Visit counter: we measure visits with a cookieless counter that stores no IP addresses or cookies.

Why we collect it

To run the service you asked for: draft captions in your brand's voice, schedule and publish posts to the platforms you connected, and surface comments and DMs so you can reply. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.

Retention

We keep account, media, and post data for as long as your brand account is active. Platform access tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect a platform. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.

Your rights

Under the UAE PDPL you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent to processing. Contact us and we will act on the request.
